I agree that the Resurrection is a very important claim. Belief in this alleged event has massively shaped the history of humankind. But I hope you would agree that just because a lot of people believe something that does not make it true. And just because a lot of people have believed something for a very long time does not make it true. Prior to Copernicus, everyone on planet earth, for thousands of years, believed that the sun circles the earth. Science proved them wrong.

So what about the witnesses to this alleged resurrection? Please provide one, undisputed, eyewitness statement of someone claiming to have seen and touched the walking, talking resurrected body of Jesus.

In reply to <a href="https://brianharrisauthor.com/easter-2025-why-timing-matters/#comment-47529">Name gary</a>.

That’s a reasonable question. You’d certainly want to hear from the witnesses. Perhaps more fundamentally you would adopt a “time will tell” attitude. After all, something of that magnitude would presumably be to achieve something of major significance. In the case of the resurrection of Jesus we have 2000 years of witness. This claim changed the world - and very decisively changed it. That alone makes it a claim to treat with some respect. You might ultimately reject it, but to treat it dismissively would be strange.
