The 60’s can be a wonderful decade. I found it both challenging and growing as at 60 we moved to Canada. There I experienced a different culture, methods of doing things and wonderful friendly folk. I learnt so much and grew in my knowledge and as a person. I felt closer to God and his great love. I went back to study at Carey Theological college at UBC which both challenged me and stretched me enabling me to touch the lives others in a deeper way. In the midst of all this my children and grandchildren were on the other side of the world (literally) which made things hard as there was not Zoom or WhatsApp then only email. The 70’s rolled around and God was faithful in every way. Now the 8th decade is here and God in his gracious way is still using me to encourage and bless others which I find quite amazing both through word and playing the piano. What a gracious, loving and amazing God we serve.
