The statement “If we simply mimic the actions of others, we have allowed them to set the agenda” is a very good matter to consider.
I used to draw Ellis’ attention to some words/things he did while preaching of which he was totally unaware.
I also think that too often we use ‘fillers’ when speaking that detract rather than add to our conversation.
