Managing Monday: Some quotes for Christmas…

Posted by on Dec 19, 2016 in Blog | 4 comments

With Christmas around the corner, I sifted through a hundred or so Christmas quotes on Pinterest, and discovered a few I thought worth pondering…

  • Advent is synonymous with hope, not the vain waiting for a faceless god, but concrete and certain trust in the return of him who has already visited us. – Pope John Paul II
  • Look for Christ and you will find Him. And with Him, everything else. – C.S.Lewis
  • Christmas is a necessity. There has to be at least one day of the year to remind us that we’re here for something else besides ourselves. – Eric Sevareid
  • Blessed is the season which engages the whole world in a conspiracy of love. – Hamilton Wright Mabie
  • Each of us is an innkeeper who decides if there is room for Jesus. – Neal A.Maxwell
  • Out of the silence, Music; Out of the darkness, Light; Out of uncertainty, Promise; Hope was born that night.

Hope the lead up to Christmas allows some time to savour the delights of this season.

As always, nice chatting…

With your permission I would like to use this quote on the Christmas card I am designing. I noticed there is no identified author to site. Do you happen to know you authored it?

    • Sorry, I’m afraid I don’t. It was on Pinterest and caught my attention.
