Posted by on Jul 9, 2018 in Blog | 0 comments

Elisabeth Elliot (1926-2015) is usually remembered for her work with the tribe who killed her missionary husband, Jim Elliot. She went on to author over twenty books, was a popular radio broadcaster and inspirational speaker, an adjunct professor at Gordon-Conwell Theological Seminary, and a significant Christian leader. Here is a third and final look at some of her insights…

  • If my life is surrendered to God, all is well. Let me not grab it back, as though it were in peril in His hand but would be safer in mine!Elisabeth Elliot
  • If we really have too much to do, there are some items on the agenda which God did not put there. Let us submit the list to him and ask him to indicate which items we must delete. There is always time to do the will of God. If we are too busy to do that, we are too busy. Elisabeth Elliot
  • Sometimes fear does no subside and one must choose to do it afraid. Elisabeth Elliot
  • Anything given to God can become a pathway to joy. Elisabeth Elliot
  • To love God is to love His will. It is to be content with His timing and wise appointment. Elisabeth Elliot

As always, nice chatting…
